Heb een voor en achteras serie 111 gekocht en deze eens uitelkaar gehaald.
Leuk werk en veel geleerd en een aantal bruikbare onderdelen overgehouden waaronder twee differentielen.
Het voordifferentieel ziet er tadeloos uit lijkt wel nieuw.
Is het de moeite waard dit diff in mijn achteras te zetten?
Hoe zou een eventueel verschil merkbaar zijn?

als het een salsbury achteras is dan schijnt het wel heel erg lastig te zijn de diff er goed in te zetten. Maar anderen weten hier meer van.

Ik was ook niet zeker Eric,dus heb ik net ff in het partsmanual van een 90 gekeken en daar hebben het voor en achterdiff hetzelfde onderdeelnummer en zijn dus gewoon uitwisselbaar.
Edit: Er is alleen verschil in nummers tussen 24 en 10 spline versies en 2 of 4 pin.
Ik neem aan dat het voor de roverassen van een serie niet veel anders is maar dat kan ik dus niet met zekerheid zeggen.

Bij mijn weten zijn ze gewoon uitwisselbaar. Bij een series wordt het voordiff alleen echt belast bij 4weel drive en is dus n.m.m. minder versleten vandaar mijn vraag.

En als hij dan ook nog van een auto met vrijloopnaven komt heeft het diff het grootste gedeelte van de tijd niet een gedraaid.

Wisselen is bij een 88 of 109 tot IIa geen enkel probleem. En soms zelfs zinvol mits de staat zoveel verschilt, zou dan persoonlijk op zoek gaan naar een 2e goed diff, aangezien je anders nog steeds een zwakke schakel in de vooras hebt. Daarnaast even opletten met betrekking tot de vulplug er zijn diffs met een zonder.

Eric, soms zit er geen vulplug in het ashuis, iets te maken met het feit dat die maffe engelsen afhankelijk van de dag van de week, de buitentemperatuur en de stand van de maan die series op verschillende wijzes in elkaar zetten. Helemaal grappig als je een bugeye hebt

Ik heb er bij gewoon chassislak op op gekwast. Dat droogt lekker snel en word goed hard waardoor het een goede bescherming vormt. Het word ook gebruikt bij chassis van vrachtwagens. aar mijn chassis is wel al gegalvaniseerd. Je kan er voor kiezen om nog wat extra bescherming te gebruiken.

Ik heb die foto ooit gezien op een site, en was me nog bij gebleven. Op de foto staat nl Front en rear.
Is natuurlijk af-termark kroon en pignonwiel maar wel met verschillende draai richting. Was benieuwt of dat dus standaard is
