LR III Lightweight - engine color

Hello,

I am LR III Lightweight FFR (production year 1976) owner.
It is car from Dutch army. I am looking for information what color of engine was originally. My is more or less red.
Was it it color ? I am looking for photos of engine room and interior cocpit as well.
Where can i find info about original softtop used for FFR in Holland.

Idea is to reubilt LR as it was 1976 in Dutch army.

red seems to indicate a 5-bearing-engine, the 3-bearing is green-grey-bleu-ish .... take a look at [turner-engineering.co.uk]

According to engine list my shoud be 3 bearing (no is 89501833A).

In the dutch army was it normal that after a while the engine was painted by hand with olive green (nato)

That's a 3-bearing engine, looks like someone has painted it red afterwards. If you look closely under the thermostat housing, you can see some of the original paint; duck-egg green.
