Noorse vraag over startmotoren

Hi there,

this forum is 'borderless' so there we go...

You should be able to source a compatible 24V starter. These (2.5) engines are being used in military 110's, so try one of the military parts suppliers (in the NL e.q
http//www.ronbolleboom.nl

An alternative would be to source a 2.25 24V starter. I am not 100% sure though if the bell housing fitting is matching.

Good luck, Arnoud

Ron Bolleboom (www.ronbollenboom.nl),
sells 24 Volt starter motors that will fit on a 2.5 N/A.
(price: 185.00 Euro, refurbished)

Morten,

you can use the 24volt starter from the 2,25ltr block.

The only things you need is a bracket for your militairy 24volt Generator and a 24>12volt converter for your solinoid on your dieselpump (or the Golden miniconverter from a militairy 110)

You can also get a 24 Volts solonoide (but they are more expensive then the 12 Volts version), from Lucas.

Succes

(P.S.: the "Golden miniconverter from a militairy 110" is a resistor with the same value as the solonoide)

Thank you, everybody. Morton, do you want to keep us/me informed about how your Dutch starter performs in Norwegian winter?
