Gelezen op het forum van Landrover Enthusiast (www.landroverenthusiast.com):
Details of the Guinness World Records "Longest Land Rover Procession" World Record Attempt 2005 have been confirmed.
Towcester Racecourse, Northamptonshire, England
Sat 16 - Sun 17 April 2005
Intention: To create a 1,000 vehicle convoy (Land Rovers, Range Rover, Discovery, Freelander, Forward Control, etc.) thereby setting a new official world record.
Incidentally, I have submitted details of the April 2004 event to Guinness (260 Land Rovers forming a three mile column of vehicles) for verification, so will announce their decision as to whether we have suceeded in setting a world record just as soon as they contact me. Their criteria is a minimum "two mile column of vehicles", thus we don't anticipate a problem. Time will tell!
2005 event fees unchanged - same as 2004: £35 entry fee covering up to 5 people in one vehicle includes 2 days admission, 3 nights camping, world record attempt entry, rally plaque and Certificate of Participation. Club discounts of 30% are also available - see website or phone for details.
Alternatively, non-world record attempt day admission: Adults £5 per day, kids free.
Off-road course @ £10 all day (Sat only).

Dan moeten we maar met zijn allen naar de UK,..................
