As regards to taking your dog with you, you will need to make sure the following is done in preparation:
(I) Does your pet have a microchip planted? One is required
(II) Has your pet been vaccinated against rabies? Vaccination is required and we will need the certificate number.
(III) Has your pet been tested after the rabies vaccination? (This must have been carried out 6 months before valid from date on certificate of entry)
(IV) Tick and tapeworm treatment will be required 24 -48 hours before entry to the UK.
If you need anymore information I will be happy to help, or you could try one of the following:
a) +44 870 241 1710 - PETS GENERAL HELPLINE
b) www.defra.gov.uk - DEFRA Website
c) Your veterinary surgeon
The cost of taking your dog is £20 return. Unfortunatly it is not possible to pay in Euros as it has to be booked over the telephone.
