Hallo,

Wer hatte schonst Probleme bei einem TD5 wo ÿl ins Steuergerät lief?

Hallo Claude,

Willkommen hier im Forum 'Prikpagina'. Du bist nicht der Einzige mit diesem Problem... Als es bij Land Rover ltd bekannt wurde sind die Konnektoren und Draete verbesert worden.

Oil in the injector harness is a (fairly) common problem among TD5s. Oil in the ECU (due to progressing through the injector harness) is rather rare. Afaik there is 1 known intstant of a TD5 ecu with oil contamination which subsequently resulted in a dead ECU. The problem is more common among the older TD5s (1999/2002) as LR made a modification to the wiring harness as from MY2002. In Holland this problem is fixed under warranty but i can´t tell you if the same applies to Lux. cars.

Kommt die Garantie in Holland auch noch auf, nach Ablauf der Garantie? (Ablaufzeit 7 - 8 Monate)
